Image Naming Example: striped zebra-n-botha johan-3.jpg

Naming of Images 2008:

1. All characters must be lower case. NO CAPITAL LETTERS
2. Only a hyphen must be used between; title-category-name-star
3. No other characters must be used eg , _ ; :
4. Use single spaces between words in title and also your surname and first name. Do not use dashes -
5. Your name must be with surname first followed by first name
6. Title must not be longer than 21 characters including spaces
7. This is what your image name should look like: title (with spaces if more than one word) followed by dash followed by category followed by dash followed by your surname space first name followed by dash followed by your star rating. Please study the example below very carefully.

8. File dimensions, not wider than 1024 pixels and not higher than 768 pixels. Even if it is portrait shaped it must not be higher then 768 pixels.
9. File size not larger than 400kb.

Only three photos can be submitted per club meeting

Gold awards are cumulative – Our previous totals are shown in brackets( )

1 – 2 star 8 Gold (6 more golds but easier to get - 9 points)

2 –3 star 20 Gold (18)

3 – 4 star 36 Gold (42 less golds score was raised from 10 to 11)+6 Salon

3 star plus 40 Gold and less than 6 Salon will be judged as a 4 Star worker without the 4 Star rating
to avoid easier attainment of gold’s

4 – 5 star 60 Gold (72) +25 Salon (26)

4 star plus 65 Gold and less than 25 Salon will be judged as a 5 Star worker without the 4 Star rating
to avoid easier attainment of gold’s

5 – 6 star 100 Gold (110) +40 Salon (45)

Three Judge Scoring System. Each judge scores out of five giving a maximum of fifteen points (3 x 5 = 15).
