    EDUCATION

Our aim is to PREVENT cruelty. Most cruelty is not deliberate cruelty. In providing information and education we believe we will change public opinion to right attitudes towards animals.

The SPCA will support and take active part in any education venture that will promote the caring for animals. Options that are available where the SPCA’s participation may be called in, can include:

    SCHOOLS

Pet Care Talks at Primary and High Schools by SPCA Trained Staff

School visits to the SPCA premises

    Colouring-in or Slogan Competitions

    SPCA Clubs at schools

Video Material on various animal matters is available

    NEWSPAPER ARTICLES

Series of Pet Care articles in local gazettes or newspapers

    Fetes, Fairs and Flea Markets

A static SPCA display and Pet Information Stand can be a drawcard

    ADVERTISING

Local businesses can improve their image by supporting SPCA advertisements on vehicles, billboards and newspaper advertisements.
