    VETERINARY CARE

The law requires that the owner of any animal ensures veterinary care are given to his animal whenever required. It is the owner’s responsibility to enlist the services of a Veterinary Surgeon. In cases where an animal is injured and the owner is unknown, the SPCA will assist in providing emergency treatment and/or assist in getting the animal treatment by a Registered Veterinary Surgeon. Cost of such treatment will be recoverable from the owner of the animal if and when the owner is found.

The SPCA will assist in providing emergency veterinary care to any animal should the services of a veterinary surgeon not be available for whatever reason.
